KURZUS JELENTKEZÉS:- A Sapientia EMTE és a BBTE joghallgatói és végzett jogászok jelentkezhetnek (összesen max. 20 fő). - A Sapientia EMTE angol haladó nyelvi oktatásban résztvevő joghallgatóinak a kurzuson való részvétele KÖTELEZŐ. - A kurzusok heti 3x2 óra, két hét alatt összesen 6x2 óra jelenlétet feltételeznek. - Az előadásokon való részvétel ingyenes. A jelentkezés feltételezi, hogy a hallgató a program egészén részt vesz, és amennyiben nem, a jelentkezésével vállalja 150 euró, illetve végzett jogászok esetében 350 euró költségtérítés megfizetését (nem alkalmazandó, ha a kimaradásnak megfelelő orvosi papírral alátámasztott egészségügyi okai vannak). - A képzés elvégzéséről a résztvevők diplomát (participation certificate) kapnak. - Az angol nyelv megfelelő ismerete előfeltétel. - Jelentkezni 2015. október 3-ig, a szeredai.norbert@kv.sapientia.ro e-mail címen lehet (az e-mail-nek tartalmaznia kell a jelentkező teljes nevét, személyi igazolvány számát, állandó és kolozsvári lakcímét, személyi számát, e-mail címét és mobil telefonos elérhetőségét, az egyetem elnevezését és az évfolyamot).

Roger Hiatt has practiced in the area of international law since 1984 and assists clients in a variety of situations, including structuring international business transactions, drafting international agreements, compliance with international trade laws, including U.S. import and export regulations. In addition, Roger is knowledgeable in solving international tax problems and international trade finance issues, including EXIM Bank financing, letter of credit agreements and related matters, handling business-related immigration issues, and the establishment and maintenance of offshore financial entities. Prior to relocating to Kansas City, Roger practiced in Miami, Fla., in a major firm with a significant international banking practice, and in Topeka, Kan., in a firm with a business, civil litigation and administrative practice. He has worked in a variety of capacities for both professional and civic groups, with a focus on international business and awareness of international political issues and cultures. Roger has linguistic capacity in French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.

- Represented a wide variety of clients in diverse industrial segments, focusing on resolution of international issues, ranging from seeking trade preferences for numerous products to building distribution networks in numerous countries.
- Represented numerous companies and individuals in handling business-related immigration issues, including obtaining both temporary and permanent U.S. status across all industries and occupations.
- Successfully represented claimants in a precedent-setting asylum case which changed official U.S. government policy toward the People's Republic of China.
