ÎNSCRIERE CURS:

- se pot înscrie studenţi la drept din cadrul UBB şi Universitatea Sapientia (max. 20 pers în total).

- Cursurile sunt organizate după următoarea schemă: 3x2 ore pe săptămână, timp de 2 săptămâni.

- Participarea la cursuri este gratuită.

- Participanţii vor primi diplome de participare (participation certificate) la sfârşitul cursului.

- Cunoaştera corespunzătoare a limbii engleze este obligatorie.

JEFFREY M. EPSTEIN PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Jeffrey M. Epstein is a former co-chairman of Kaye Scholer's Finance Department. In his years of practice, Jeff handled matters involving the entire range of banking and commercial finance transactions, including secured and unsecured loans, loan syndications, project financings, leveraged acquisitions, regulatory matters and workout and debt restructurings.

He was involved with companies in the apparel, entertainment, health, auto, electronic, consumer products, restaurant, security, telecommunications, advertising, publishing and e-commerce industries in structuring leveraged buyouts. He also represented various government agencies in connection with receivership matters.

Jeff has lectured on topics of interest to the commercial and financial community, including leveraged buyouts, loan restructurings and the application of federal regulatory issues to commercial transactions. Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harry E. Kalodner, chief judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, from 1965 – 1966.

Following his retirement, Jeff has taught topics on American law in various Eastern European countries under the auspices of the Center for International Legal Studies. On a pro bono basis, he has represented NGO’s in the areas of theatre, education and elder rights in both the United States and abroad. Jeff has also continued his activities as a member of the ABA International Division.
